Dr Daniel Rieders Biography
Dr. Daniel Rieders is a triple-board-certified cardiologist with distinction in moving his patients from disease to health. Over the last decade Dr. Dan Rieders has transformed his conventional practice into integrative medicine, assisting his patients to recover their innate ability to heal themselves.
Dr. Rieders has a degree from UC Santa Barbara in Molecular Biology and received his medical degree from the University of Southern California while his cardiology fellowship was at the UCLA-VA Medical Center. He has practiced for over three decades in both private clinics as well as a faculty member at USC Cardiology.
A decade ago, Dr. Rieders explored the connection between the six different types of health; of our physical, financial, mental, emotional and spiritual health, as well as the health of all our relationships health. While leaving a patient’s financial health to their financial advisor and their mental, psychological and emotional health, as well as the health of their relationships, to the psychologists and psychiatrists, Dr. Rieders decided to focus on the connection between mind, body and spirit.
As an illustration, most of us are familiar with the placebo effect in which, by believing a “sugar” pill might heal us, such as taking away our pain, the mind then generates our own pain killers and reliefs us of our suffering. Dr. Rieders’ purpose of healing people by integrating one’s physical and spiritual health has now become his new passion.
He begins the healing process by first developing a relationship with each patient that hopefully gains their trust so he is better able to understand their needs while partnering with them in developing solutions that solve their problems and regain both their physical and spiritual well-being.
